Frequently asked questions
How do I delete my account?
Open the Profile tab and tap "Remove account" at the bottom of the screen. Your account and its data are deleted permanently. You can also email us to request the deletion.
How do I manage notifications?
In the Profile tab, under News, turn email or push notifications on or off. If push notifications are turned off for Vendaval in your device settings, the Profile tab shows a shortcut to open Settings.
What are events?
Events are the upcoming windy days for the spots you follow, detected from the forecast. Each event shows the best window of the day. Follow a spot to start receiving events for it.
Where does the forecast data come from?
Vendaval shows numerical weather model forecasts and live weather station readings.
How do I report a forecast issue?
Email us with the spot or station name and the date and time you noticed the problem. A screenshot helps a lot.
